  • How does the licensing for FaceMe Security work?
    Applied to:  FaceMe® SECURITY 2.0 FaceMe® SECURITY All,

    We offer flexible licensing options tailored to our customers' business models. FaceMe Security is typically licensed on a subscription basis per video channel.
    However, we also provide alternative options, including perpetual licenses. For more details, please contact us.

  • What are the database requirements for FaceMe Security? Do I need to use the FaceMe Security database, or can I use my own? Is it possible to import my own database or edit the FaceMe Security database?

    FaceMe Security currently supports Microsoft SQL Server 2019 and 2022.

    Support for PostgreSQL will be available later this year.

  • Can FaceMe Security operate offline?
    Applied to:  FaceMe® SECURITY 2.0 FaceMe® SECURITY All,

    For FaceMe Security Central, an Internet connection is required for license activation. If you purchased a "1st Time Activation" license, you only need to connect Central to the Internet during the initial launch. Once activated, the program can operate without an Internet connection. Alternatively, customers can activate FaceMe Security without connecting the server to the Internet by scanning the QR code provided by FaceMe Security.

    FaceMe Security Workstation must be connected to a network (Intranet or Internet) to connect to its assigned IP cameras and FaceMe Security Central, allowing it to send results to the console.

  • Is there a list of supported IP cameras for FaceMe Security?

    FaceMe Security is designed to meet industry video surveillance standards and supports a wide range of cutting-edge IP cameras. It is compatible with IP cameras that adhere to these video surveillance standards.

    If your product requires a specific IP camera that is not listed, please get in touch with your CyberLink representative for a device evaluation.

  • Do you have a quick start guide for installing FaceMe Security?
    Applied to:  FaceMe® SECURITY 2.0 FaceMe® SECURITY All,

    Yes, "Installation Guides" are available for the Central server, Workstation, and Console. These guides should be included in the package you received from your CyberLink contact.

  • What is the difference between FaceMe Security and FaceMe SDK?
    Applied to:  FaceMe® SECURITY 2.0 FaceMe® SECURITY All,

    FaceMe Security is a ready-to-use software solution, offering specific features for quick deployment without requiring additional coding or complex integration.

    In contrast, the FaceMe SDK is a customizable software development kit, allowing customers to integrate its functionality into their own applications, which necessitates programming efforts.

  • Is there a free trial version for evaluation?
