The reason that 3D playback was removed from CyberLink PowerDVD 20/365 is because of number of user utilizing it keeps dropping, and the 3D media playback hardware and software companies support and maintenance of the feature has gradually declined. CyberLink will now migrate the research and development resources to focus on new playback and media features.
The 3D media playback feature (including 3D video files playback, Blu-ray 3D playback, etc.) is NO longer supported in the new version of PowerDVD 20 (or above). The new PowerPlayer 365 does not support the 3D video playback feature, either.
If you would like to play your 3D media, you may consult your 3D media content providers or your 3D device manufacturer for recommended playback solutions.
For PowerDVD Live subscribers that have version 19.0 installed, you can continue using the 3D playback feature until your subscription expires by not applying the new version (PowerDVD 20/365) upgrade.
