What are credits?
Optimizing our server's computing power for faster, high-quality generative AI results, we're introducing AI Credits – virtual tokens that enable efficient use of our generative AI tools.
Credits are virtual tokens that you can use in CyberLink's software, web service (MyEdit) AI tools, and mobile apps (MyEdit Mobile, PhotoDirector, PowerDirector, Vivid Glam). Different AI tools may consume different amounts of credit depending on the complexity of AI computing.
- Bonus Credits: Granted when you subscribe to CyberLink Director Suite 365, PowerDirector 365 Business, PowerDirector 365 Windows/for Mac, PhotoDirector 365 Windows/for Mac, AudioDirector 365, Promeo PC, MyEdit, or CyberLink’s mobile apps (MyEdit Mobile, PhotoDirector, PowerDirector, Vivid Glam).
- Purchased Credits: Credits that you purchase.
You can use both types of credits in AI generator tools.
AI Credits are utilized across generative AI and cloud-powered features within CyberLink software and web services. The feature set is dynamic and continuously scales to introduce expanded AI capabilities and tools.
Credits are deducted on a per-use basis. To continuously deliver premium output, credit consumption numbers may change as we incorporate new AI models that provide enhanced AI generating quality and precision. The exact cost is determined by these technological advancements and the complexity of selected options, such as utilizing additional reference assets, generating accompanying audio, or combining multiple enhancement features.
Credit requirements may vary to reflect these advanced model integrations, expanded capabilities, system updates, or promotional events; the active rate will always be clearly displayed in the UI prior to use.
- Earn Bonus Credits by subscribing to Director Suite 365, PowerDirector 365 Business, PowerDirector 365 Windows/for Mac, PhotoDirector 365 Windows/for Mac, AudioDirector 365, Promeo PC, MyEdit, or CyberLink’s mobile apps (MyEdit Mobile, PhotoDirector, PowerDirector, Vivid Glam).
- Get Purchased Credits by buying them on the CyberLink Member Zone Credit webpage and via the features that require credits in 365 products/MyEdit/ CyberLink mobile apps (MyEdit Mobile/ PhotoDirector/ PowerDirector/ Vivid Glam).

Note:
When you have run out of your credits, you can purchase more on the CyberLink Member Zone Credit webpage and via the features that require credits in 365 products/MyEdit/ CyberLink’s mobile apps(MyEdit Mobile/ PhotoDirector/ PowerDirector/Vivid Glam).
- Purchased Credits will expire 1 year after they were purchased.
- Bonus Credits in 365 products/ MyEdit/ MyEdit Business/ PhotoDirector mobile app/ PowerDirector/Vivid Glam mobile app will expire 1 month after they were granted.
- Bonus Credits in MyEdit Mobile will expire 1 month1 after they were granted.
- Daily Free Credits in 365 products/ MyEdit/ MyEdit Business will expire 1 month after they were granted.
- Daily Free Credits in the PowerDirector mobile app will expire 1 week after they are claimed.
- Daily Free Credits in MyEdit Mobile/ PhotoDirector mobile app will expire 1 day after they are claimed.
Note:
1. Users who subscribed to MyEdit Mobile before July 31, 2025, the bonus credits will expire 1 week after they were granted
You can refund an entire order of unused purchased credit within 30 days of when they were purchased. To refund unused credits, view this FAQ. If some of the credits from an order have been used, the rest of the credits are not refundable.
