Taipei, Taiwan—January 09, 2010—CyberLink Corp. (5203.TW), innovative solutions provider for the connected media lifestyle, announced today a technology demonstration showcasing the next-generation of interactive multimedia applications enabled with PrimeSense™ natural interaction sensing and recognition technologies.
The technology collaboration will be showcased on PowerCinema 7.1 at the 2010 Consumer Electronics Show to interested members of the press, and to PC and display manufacturers, by appointment in CyberLink’s Suite (2060) at the Hilton Hotel.
CyberLink PowerCinema is the next-generation media entertainment center, featuring advanced virtual touch and gesturing technologies for more natural interaction with CE devices and digital content. "Utilizing PrimeSense innovative 3D optical sensing and recognition technologies, we are ushering in a new era in digital home entertainment where consumers can use their arms and hands as gesturing devices to access controls in PowerCinema 7.1."
"This is an exciting time for consumers as we take the leap to revolutionize the way consumers interact with devices," said Inon Beracha, PrimeSense CEO. "We are pleased to partner with leading software vendors such as CyberLink that are committed to taking multimedia experiences to new heights.
