TAIPEI, TAIWAN – July 7, 2026 – CyberLink Corp. (5203.TW), CyberLink Corp. (5203.TW), a global leader in AI facial recognition technology, today announced that its FaceMe® SDK has been integrated into Hundure Technology's latest HAC-990FA series of facial recognition access control terminals. The combined solution delivers fast, accurate on-device authentication with enterprise-grade security and privacy, enabling organizations to strengthen physical access control while keeping biometric data protected.

Built for Enterprise-Grade Security
FaceMe consistently ranks among the world’s top facial recognition engines in the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Face Recognition Technology Evaluation (FRTE), achieving a 99.83% True Accept Rate (TAR) at a False Accept Rate (FAR) of one-in-a-million (1E-6). Its 2D passive liveness anti-spoofing technology has also been independently validated by iBeta, providing strong protection against presentation attacks while maintaining industry-leading recognition accuracy.
By combining CyberLink's AI facial recognition technology with Hundure Technology's expertise in access control hardware and security systems, the integrated solution helps organizations deploy reliable, high-performance access management with faster implementation and dependable technical support.
Fast, Private Authentication at the Edge
Powered by the NXP i.MX8M Mini processor, the Hundure Technology HAC-990FA series performs face detection, 2D liveness anti-spoofing, feature extraction and identity matching entirely on device. FaceMe has been optimized for this processor, completing the full authentication process, including face detection, liveness verification, and facial matching, within 1.5 seconds against a database of up to 10,000 enrolled users.
Keeping biometric data on the device also strengthens privacy and security. Facial data is protected with AES-256 encryption, while the system stores encrypted biometric templates instead of raw facial images. By eliminating the need to send biometric data to the cloud, organizations can reduce privacy risks and better support data sovereignty and cybersecurity requirements.
Multi-Factor Verification Support for High-Security Environments
FaceMe supports reliable recognition of masked users and delivers strong performance across diverse populations, making it well suited for real-world deployments. The Hundure Technology HAC-990FA series also supports access cards, QR codes, and optional two-factor authentication, allowing organizations to tailor security policies to their operational requirements.
The solution is ideal for security-sensitive environments including manufacturing facilities, corporate campuses, commercial office buildings, government agencies, research campuses, and other critical infrastructure where secure, efficient access management is essential.
"We are thrilled to partner with CyberLink to integrate FaceMe facial recognition technology into Hundure Technology's next-generation HAC-990FA series smart access control devices," said Hsu Chen-Yen, Chairman of Hundure Technology. "By combining FaceMe's high-accuracy facial recognition with Hundure Technology's years of expertise in access control hardware R&D and manufacturing, we can deliver a smart access control solution that balances security, convenience, and management efficiency. The close collaboration between our teams enables us to respond quickly to market demands and provide real-time technical support, creating a safer and more efficient access control experience for our customers."
"FaceMe continues to deepen its integration with hardware partners to advance the deployment of AI facial recognition on edge computing platforms," said Mei Guu, President of CyberLink Business Unit 2. "The integration with Hundure Technology's next-generation HAC-990FA series not only demonstrates FaceMe's maturity and integration capability on embedded edge platforms but also enables our partners to quickly build smart access control solutions that deliver high-performance recognition, privacy protection, and cybersecurity capabilities."
