Gaps in the frames are detected and then new frames are intelligently created, enabling PowerDirector users to convert a low frame rate video to a high frame rate video without any visually distracting stuttering. For example, a 24/30 frames per second (fps) video can be quickly converted to a 120 fps video when the AI-powered video frame interpolation feature is selected - perfect for creating engaging, high-quality content.

Additionally, by utilizing Intel® Core Ultra Processors, users benefit from the ability to run AI-powered video frame interpolation on-device. The feature’s edge capabilities provide faster video frame interpolation without the need for cloud services and their associated costs.
