PowerDirector and new ActionDirector remove barriers to action video editing
Taipei, Taiwan—May 11, 2016 — CyberLink Corp. (5203.TW), today revealed the results of a survey about video capture and action camera usage among US consumers. The survey revealed surprising findings about the popularity of video capture and more specifically the creative ways people are using their action cams today. However, it is most surprising and unfortunate that most action footage is either never edited or simply deleted. The reasons behind this statistic are the same reasons driving the action-oriented innovations in PowerDirector and ActionDirector, a new video editing product by CyberLink tailored specifically for action cam footage.

Research Methodology
Total sample size was 1173 adults. Fieldwork was undertaken between 5th - 8th February 2016. The survey was carried out online. The figures have been weighted and are representative of all US adults (aged 18+).
