Las Vegas, NV January 11, 2012—CyberLink Corp. (5203.TW), innovative solution provider for the connected digital lifestyle, today announced that the next release of its  flagship video editing software, PowerDirector 10, using Intel’s new connectivity framework, is being  demonstrated by Intel at their booth at the 2012 International Consumer Electronics Show.  This application showcases new advanced capabilities for users as part of Intel’s compute continuum initiative.

With its optimization for the latest Intel® Core™ processor-based platforms and award-winning video editing performance, PowerDirector 10 is an ideal candidate to build on Intel’s connectivity framework and achieve effortless and effective transfer of multimedia content between PCs, smartphones, tablets and other intelligent computing systems.

“As video becomes an increasingly important aspect of online communication in both personal and work environments, so too does the ability to be able to work with recorded content across the growing number of computing devices,” said Alice H. Chang, CEO of CyberLink. “We’re delighted to have the opportunity to work closely with Intel to provide our customers with a smarter and more personal multimedia experience.”

"Intel's aim with the common connectivity framework is to enable experiences which are seamless, consistent and secure across a range of different device types and operating systems," said Zane Ball, General Manager of Desktop business at Intel.  "With CyberLink PowerDirector 10, this interconnectivity can enable people to easily make use of the best capabilities of all of their devices for the task at hand."
